The Rocbird

Found only in the marshlands surrounding The Wheatsheaf Library, this very rare bird was discoverd by The Rochdale Readers as part of the R.S.P.B.'s garden birdwatch weekend.

The Rocbird

He has one wing that goes Bling! Bling! Bling!
The other wing goes Cling! Cling! Cling!
Together they go Blicking! Clibling! Blicking!
His feathers fall out whenever he swings
(and sometimes when he sings!)
He has a yellow beak,
Whenever he speaks
It start to leak!
He has tiny little legs
Like little brown pegs.
They get in the way when he tries to hatch the eggs!

My WinterPoem
Coldness spread's throughout the world,
The wind blows on your face softly,
When you are asleep snow appears ,
When you wake up there is a soft white blanket just waiting there ,
You go outside and scream out loud and happy cheer,
Dress up warm with your hats, scarves and gloves,
And always remember that,
You don't want to catch a cold,
Or a shiver,
Dance, skate or sing,
Because you've got the chance,
And you might not get this season,
Of the year,
Or even the chance again!!!!!
The winter poem by BILLAL

Every morning when it snows,
I go and warm my toes,
After I warm my toes I go,
And eat some toast,
After I eat some toast,
I go and read the post,
I go and play the most ,
I like the snowflakes,
They tickle my noise,
Then I know it's really snow,
When it's snowing I always,
Wonder when it will snow,
I just miss the snow,
Snow, let it snow!!!!!

Word of Mouth

Word of mouth
Always travels South
Whenever you speak
You can hear a tap leak
Confidence is the word
So when writing don't get blurred
Doesn't matter if you get a smudge
Just eat chocolate fudge
Speak loud and cleared
And you'll be heared
Speak it out loud
And you'll be proud
When you think
Just make your eyes blink
Just open your eye
And eat apple pie
